The Best Fit For Your Message

No one kind of advertisement is going to work for every person or every kind of business. The length of your message, the type of message you're trying to send, and the kind of person you're trying to reach are all going to be a factor in deciding what style of advertising you should use.

Ask yourself what the main drive is going to be behind your marketing campaign.

Let's say you have a lot of products you want to push all at the same time. For this kind of marketing you'll want to focus on something like catalog printing. Here you have the ability to advertise several products all at the same time while providing special emphasis to the ones you think will have the best chance of selling.

Of course, you need to also look at your customer base. Focus on people who have a history of buying products from catalogs before you send anything out. Some people get overwhelmed when they see a long list of products and end up not buying anything. That's why you need to make sure you're aware of who you're targeting as well as the style of advertisement you use.

Going at it from a different angle, if your goal is to let someone learn more about your company, you might trying something like newsletter printing. Letting a customer get to know you is just as much a marketing device as catalog printing is. Design a great newsletter to send out to customers each month that talks about what you're doing and what you intend to do in the coming months.

Once again, this will only work if you're dealing with people who want to learn more about you. Newsletter printing isn't going to be for everyone, and some people simply don't care about learning more about the companies they do business with.

For a more complex kind of business you might try booklet printing. Ask yourself how obvious your kind of business is. You don't want people scratching their heads when it comes to understanding what it is that you do.

I've seen plenty of companies that had ambiguous names and hard to understand descriptions of the services they provide. With booklet printing you can have a small book made that tells people what it is you do and why they should use your services. This way you don't have to worry about them ignoring you because they aren't sure of what it is that you do.

The examples I've given are only a few of the different marketing strategies out there. The point is that each one is going to have its own unique focus and you need to be aware of what they all are in order to choose the one that best suits your company.
