Motorola will invest in preservation, re-forestation and renewable energy projects to offset all of the carbon emissions that are created by the building, sales and use of this phone. While the phone is not available in the United States, it should be soon once people realize how great this device is for the environment. It has a QWERTY keypad and gives the user easy access to Orkut and Facebook regardless of where they are in the world. The phone also has a big display, email capability, SMS messaging, and a two mega pixel camera with video capture. It has other major phone features as well. The Motorola A45 Eco is the second phone handset put out by the company that is made from recycled components. The handset has twenty five percent recycled materials, with those coming from recycled plastic bottles. The hand set of this phone itself is also recyclable with seventy percent able to be recycled. The phone starts with carbon funding certification, recycled materials and is able to be recycled as well, allowing it to come full circle. It is geared toward the younger audience with cool features that appeals to their technology forward thinking and their need for environmental awareness. While they may have to sacrifice one or the other of these features with other phones with this and similar models, they can have the best of both worlds. It is an ecologically forward thinking phone that satisfies needs from the start to finish of the phone as well as having all of the features that make it a cool phone too. The cell phone has evolved in its scope of use since its beginning and the way that the world stays connect and does business is changing as well. With more people doing business on the fly, it is important that they have a phone with all of the features that they need. It is also important that these phones do not do additional harm to the environment in the process.
