Church of Saint Charles Borrome

The Saint Charles Borromé church is one of the finest examples of architecture baroque of the 18th century in central Europe. The building is a votive church, commissioned in 1713 by Emperor Charles VI following a plague epidemic. It is then dedicated to Saint Charles Borromeo, bishop canonized in 1610 who helped the sick during the plague of 1576 in Milan. it is a museum that advocates a good cause, respect for the environment.
